Minisilkys 2019 kidding

Izzy will be the first to kid this year. She is a pygmy. She was born Feb 28, 2018 and was a twin. Her kidding date is either March 4 or 6. Her mother was born March 7, 2015. Her udder is nice so far but is not tight yet. She started filling it mid-Jan. Her ligaments have stared softening that sometimes I can barely find them. She sometimes makes noises because she is uncomfortable.

Izzy started to have some discharge hanging out yesterday. Her ligaments have been doing the disappearing and reappearing act all day yesterday and today. She has not dropped yet and her udder is not tight either. I will be out of town tomorrow. Tomorrow is day 145 for her.

Izzy kidded this morning. She had twin doelings. I missed it but came in before she passed the afterbirth. I turned the heat lamp on and helped finish drying them then dipped their navels before we left. I haven't weighed them yet.

Thanks! @Sweet horizon Nigerians. It is supposed to get real cold again here on Monday and Tuesday and supposed to rain tomorrow. So by the time that is all over they will all be ready to get out of their stall and outside.

Izzy 's twins are 3 weeks old today and growing so fast. I think Anna will have a kid by morning. No signs except her udder tripled overnight and her ligs are gone.
