I started to post a couple similar stories where we had kids disappear and be found, but I didn't want to get your hopes up.

We had a newborn disappear for 24 hrs once...the neighbor's female dog (who'd just lost pups) adopted it. After a frantic all night search, I 'caught' them trying to sneak the goat back into the pen w/ the 'mama'...they didn't know I AM the mama...lol
