Mosquitos are driving my 2 does and little buck nuts. They're up all night which keeps me up all night also. We live in Belize and mosquitos are abundant right after the summer rains begin. I've sprayed around the inside and outside of their pen with diazinon but they are still in the air especially at night.
What else can I do for them?

A little vegetable oil in their water buckets will keep mosquito larvae from hatching. But they can still develop in your surrounding environment. You can use horse fly spray or you can use a livestock/horse dusting powder directly on the goats too.

Thanks for suggestions. I'll see if any of the products are available here. I use a small water bucket and change it every day. The powder would work best if I can find it. Spraying is tough since we have a 15-20 mph breeze all the time but the mosquitos can fly just fine.
Feed is tough to find here also. I'm feeding pig grower pellets, 13% protein. Here the pig grower has no urea and no animal by-products of any kind. Mostly alfalfa.
I've been a reader for awhile but not posted before.:bow
