So yeah don't ask...but is there anything I need to do for her? Like baking soda since it was a carbonated drink?

Um. Happy hour in the barn?

I'd give baking soda at the very least. It's carbonated and it's malty which both lead to excess gas.

Update. Well she is just fine  she was drunk though. She went from happy happy and bouncing from chair to chair...to big eyed and leaning funny...to leaning her face again a tree and presseing her full weight into it. Then she took a nap and is just fine.

Here are a close up of her guilty little pink mouth right as she was moving from happy happy to big eyed and drooping ears.

You should have video taped that one for us! ;) Glad all turned out well except for a little bit of drunken revelry!

I know it could have gone badly, but that is just too cute. I, too, would have loved a video. :gig

My Marshmallow drank the last couple swigs of my Summer Shandy a few weeks ago. I was shocked she was so fond of beer. Glad your girl is ok.

Yeah I had to fight to get my glass back. I knew the pigs and horses love beer but didn't know that goats did!

It's actually not surprising that she liked it. Some producers will feed spent brewer's mash to their herds (usually cattle and goats).

I do feed my failed brew products and by product to the pig, she loves all of it. I soak her corn in about three or four cans of beer overnight then mix her pellets in right before feeding. Happy pig.

When I had horses I would soak their oats and beet pulp in beer for after work outs. They always recovered better.

On a side note. .this goat has the best smelling rumen burp now! Do you think there was any yeast in the drink?
