I love my goofy Fiona. She is the silliest sweety.
Hard to believe that when I first brought her home she was a shy gangly 4 month old with bad mineral deficiency.
Fiona turned out to be very friendly and loves to follow me about like a puppy. She is much healthier, even though she still has a thin reminant of fur on her thighs with that rusty color. As that fur sheds new healthy fur is growing in its place.
She will be a year old this April and once her breeding season kicks in she will be bred to Abel. Fiona is a pure unregistered Nubian. I think that the babies will be super adorable and have a chance of spots. Fiona has 1 moonspot on one side and 2 moon spots on the other side. Abel is my ND buckling with blue eyes, tri-color, and neat coat pattern.
She is bonding with the youngest, newest girl, Bebe which is good. Fiona does not mind being the tallest girl in my small herd. She is very gently with playing with the smaller goats and can be down right cute about it. I love it when she lifts up her ears.
Even though I plan to slowly move to registered NDs I will always have my goofy girl around as she is more pet than anything. She knows it too!
