My girls have always been very anemic and thin since we got them even though they eat very well. I was upset because it seems no matter what natural remedies I tried nothing helped. I got injectable iron and b complex and tried that with no change and finally my ivermectin arrived! They just finished their second dose (I dosed them once than again 10 days later) I checked them today, a week since the last treatment and was thrilled they are no longer anemic! So I decided to weigh them and they have gained 2.5 lbs each! They were 25 and 22 the day of their first worming! My husband wasn't too excited he didn't understand my excitement over pink eyelids. I think I could have cried!
My excitement is there is only one vet in the area that treats goats, my old boss, I would rather light myself on fire in a field of gasoline than take my babies there.

Glad your girls are doing better, and are getting the color back in their eyelids! I also had some problems with anemia with my girls, but they've been dewormed and have been getting molasses, and thankfully they are doing much better too! I was looking at two of them today, and the eyelid color is real good on one of them, and a lot better on the other, compared to what it was!
