February is having a party starting tomorrow. I had to get the coop wrapped up!
I love it!!!! Looks like it's going to be toasty & snug.I wrapped the hoop coop in a big tarp today. It’s one of the tarps I used to cover the roof when putting on a new roof in July 2023.
I scooped a front end bucket of dirt with the tractor and filled in low places.

I dragged it over the coop, placed cinder blocks on it, tacked it down, tied it with hay string and finally considered it done.
I ran an extension cord over to the coop and hung 3 heat lamps in it.

I put a barometer in it and will check temperature in the morning.

Most big box stores offer delivery..So, since the metal shed wall isn't going to work as a coop wall, I could maybe use it as part of a roof.
The metal shed has two more full walls, and a partial wall with doors, I need to see what condition they are in.
And there's still the old shed's tin overhang to wirebrush and disassemble. More roof.
I needed to move that piece of plywood that I found in the shed. It's heavy! I didn't measure the width but I think it's 5/8". I really don't want to use it unless there's no other choice, it's a nice piece.
I'm ready to bite the bullet and buy a T11 panel for the back wall, but how to get it home?
No more work until the weekend, an Ice Storm Cometh...
