Looks like they were playing "Kine of the Hill"

If you don't want to eat him, The Shenandoah Valley Livestock Auction in Harrisonburg Va has an Exotic Animal sale the last Thursday of the month. There are lots of "exotics" ... Zebu's, miniature herefords, one time some purebred White Park cattle; different "off the wall" breeds of cattle...belted Galloways, Scottish Highlands, sheep, goats, things like "sugar gliders"; rabbits..... who knows what from month to month.
I saw a beautiful GYR heifer there more than a year ago; a coming 2 year old... full size cattle, like Brahma's but a little more along the exotic line... huge pendulous ears and the long face... she brought over $3,000....
Just a suggestion....
Exotic sale is at 6 p.m. the last Thursday so no early morning.. just thought I would offer a possible alternative. The problem is no butcher showing up. Not a regular beef cow, so they've got qualms with it. One guy was supposed to show up months ago, but keeps changing it, too.
I'm not waking up that early nor fixing the trailer just to sell him.
Local two sale yards here have a 6 or 7am sign in. Haven't looked into others.Exotic sale is at 6 p.m. the last Thursday so no early morning.. just thought I would offer a possible alternative.
Yeah. I'm not fixing the old trailer and getting it inspected just to attempt to shove him in the night before sale day. Most of the stockyards here will take stuff in after 6 a.m. and will take in all the way up to 1 or 2 p.m....
The exotic sale will take in until 4 or 5 p.m.. They have their regular sale on Saturday and will take in cattle, sheep, goats etc until at least 1 p.m. Many are offering to take in stuff the day before also... so not near the lines there used to be on the sale day...
