My new baby calf

Bessy finally had her calf. We have been gettin rain, rain, and more rain, and I was sure she was going to have it on a cold rainy night, but no she waited till a beautiful sunny warm afternoon. He was only a couple of hours old in the photos. Mom is the black baldy head in the lower photo.

Yes, his sire was an angus. I was hoping for a heifer with some white on its face, but I guess you get what you get. I'm just glad she had him without any problems.
