Our first kids of the year are here! Licorice gave us triplet doelings. They are all healthy and bouncing around.

I am a little concerned because her afterbirth has been hanging out of her for over 6 hours. I know I'm not supposed to pull it out but is there anything I should be doing?

Congrats on THREE girls! How awesome is that! :clap

Not sure about the afterbirth, I'm sure someone more knowledgeable will be along soon to help answer your question. :)

Adorable (from what I can see ;) )

Do not pull on the afterbirth (can damage the uterus. If you have any injectable B-Complex, dose her with that, but I would give a call to the vet for some oxytocin (before it gets to being late and he or she is in bed).

Click on the pictures it makes them bigger!!

Very cute!!! I need to get on the triplet doeling bandwagon. Hah, I'd be happy with any doeling at this point, even though my does are so moody all the time.

My first kids aren't due for almost another month and 2 of the does are huge. I had a doe year last year so I am thinking buck year is coming my way. I am just hoping that any spotted boers that are born are does, the dairy stock just gets sold as pets so doesn't matter.

Thanks everyone. I would share the pink dust if I could. My buck got a treat for all that pink. :)

Just letting yall know she passed it on her own. She had a kinda rough delivery so she was exhausted. The first kid presented only a front hoof. The other hoof and head were turned backward so I had to help her deliver it. She is back to herself today.

No, we are not keeping them. We have a doe kid from last year out of the same breeding. We only have a few acres so I can only keep maybe one kid a year.

I just accidentally copied the thumbnail url by accident. Thats why they are so small.

I don't make it on to BYH much anymore because I have two little boys and a 1 month old daughter so any break I get is usually reserved for a nap! :) But I love coming on to see all the baby pics so I figured I'd at least post ours.
