Hi all,
I just found this site and this is my first post.
I have kept goats since '99 and have raised many kids from a registered full South African buck and full SA does, Spanish does, and Toggenburgs. They're a hoot to watch when they're young.
A few years back, our old "Superman" blooded buck went the way of all flesh and we really miss him. He was a gentle old man, and he
was very productive for us. I went through some changes in my day job, and we decided to take a break from kidding. We sold down the herd, keeping some does to keep the pasture in shape.
Now, we want to get another buck, but have heard that does which haven't bred in the last three years will not ever breed again.
Does anyone have experience with this, or know if the rumor holds water?
Thanks,
Ron
