I agree with the masses here. Logo would work better if the forum color is changed. Take it to a dark green and it should work. It will also give more contrast for those with less than perfect vision.

Can't put my finger on it, but there is something about the new logo that just doesn't blend well with the rest of the pages, maybe it is the color ???

Once you start reading or posting the logo isn't visible anyway. The blue is easy on these old eyes! The logo looks good but, it seems to blend like an ad, kinda like words on the page, I don't really notice it.

Maybe horse in the background, goat/sheep forground. Take out horse put in cow. JK '

I like it. Put a black baldy over on the right hand side of the "BackYardHerds" part and it's good to go.

Could I make a few suggestions? The colors don't mesh well, IMO. It looked like a banner ad when I first saw it. I love the calming blue of the forum, and that green just seems so stark. Also, the horse is slanted, and the sheep looks like it has bottle jaw. There should definitely be a cow, since there aren't many active horse people it seems.
