BTW, if you are looking for a pet got try to get one that is a bottle fed kid. Make sure it is disbudded, and castrated, and if the breeder is reputable the kid should have already have had its CDT shots. This is an annual shot that will have to be given. If you have a horse, you will be having the vet come out on a vet call to give the horse its shots each year, so just ask the vet to make sure to bring a CDT shot for each goat. Make sure to ask the vet to bring the CDT vaccine to the ranch appointment since most vets don't routinely carry CDT on their trucks.
