Hello. My name is Elizabeth. I am a fairly new cow momma (2 years now). I also have a horse and raise pigs. I have joined the forum for help in info about raising cows. I am fairly new to them. I own a 7 year old momma red angus with her steer she had in June of 2023. I hope to learn a lot from those that have more knowledge of cows. Thank you.

Anything special you want to know? Any plans or hopes for these 2 or more? We can cheer you on.

@farmerjan is our main go to "cow" people...works with operating dairies, raises beef, also.... Maintains sizeable herd cow/calf op, keeps a few dairy for self.

Lot of members with pigs, sheep, goats, chickens...plus more😂 You'll be Old McDonald's with our input

She'll reply here....works for dairy testing. So my name drop will get her to respond and she'll ask -- what situation you need for special help 😊. Without that there's not much to tell.

I see the swollen rump post...she will too. Dairy testing can be a 4-5 am start, or late if catching evening milk. Erratic schedules & days but, reply will come.
