I started mixing my own feed today because it's cheaper to do than buying 4 bags of premixed feed. Its pretty basic, but I wanted to know if it's okay for the goats, tips, suggestions, advice would be appreciated. Whole oats, Shelled corn, and Alfalfa pellets is what was used. Thanks.

No way to tell without knowing the ratio but probably not
Corn and oats are not high in protein and are high in phosphorus
Most feeds get their protein from soy meal

50 pounds of corn to 25 oats, and 25 alfalfa.

What ratios? I have not mixed feed before, so don't know much about it, but be careful you don't feed too much corn as it is really rich.
I've never had problems with feeding corn. Sometimes, like middle of winter, I give just corn at both feedings. And hay in between of course.

My goat feed's second ingredient is soybean meal, the first is grain, but it doesn't specify which grain. In addition to many other things there is also a bunch of added vitamins and minerals.
