Just saying hi as I haven't posted in BYH before, although I enjoy reading through the threads. I live in eastern NY. As a kid I grew up on a small old fashioned farm with dairy cows and poultry. Farming is in my blood. When my kids were little and I was home all the time I had goats, chickens, rabbits and a big garden, trying to raise as much of my own food as possible. It was hard work but fun. Then I had to go back to work full time and I only have the chickens and garden now for many years. I still work part time on a big thoroughbred horse breeding farm. I love all things animal related and gardening for sustenance.

:welcome:frow so glad you’ve finally posted!

It’d be really neat if you started a journal. You could tell us about your chicken adventures, your garden, and even horse barn stories. As I’m sure you know by now, we love pictures!

Greetings and welcome to BYH from NE TX! So glad you joined us (almost a year ago :ep). About time you jumped into the conversation(s)! :old :clap As you know, there's a wealth of info, knowledge and experience shared in the multitude of threads. Browse around and see what interesting stuff you can find. By all means post away when the desire strikes you, especially if you have questions (provide as much detail/info as possible and pictures truly help)... With all the great folks here, generally someone will respond in no time at all. Please make yourself at home!

Hope you continue to enjoy the site!

Hello to @robhuncor from upstate New York! Welcome to BYH and glad you introduced yourself!
How many chickens do you have? We finally have some nice weather here, thought winter would never go away!
We have a dog, 2 hens and 2 cows. I love gardening as well. :)
