Overrun with beasties
Just saying hi as I haven't posted in BYH before, although I enjoy reading through the threads. I live in eastern NY. As a kid I grew up on a small old fashioned farm with dairy cows and poultry. Farming is in my blood. When my kids were little and I was home all the time I had goats, chickens, rabbits and a big garden, trying to raise as much of my own food as possible. It was hard work but fun. Then I had to go back to work full time and I only have the chickens and garden now for many years. I still work part time on a big thoroughbred horse breeding farm. I love all things animal related and gardening for sustenance.

As you know, there's a wealth of info, knowledge and experience shared in the multitude of threads. Browse around and see what interesting stuff you can find. By all means post away when the desire strikes you, especially if you have questions (provide as much detail/info as possible and pictures truly help)...
