Hi, I'm Bill. My wife and I live on 27 acres in SE Knox County. We have 7 gaited horses (2 are retired standardbreds, the rest TWH), 1 Jersey steer, 4 dairy goats (1 Saanen, 3 Alpines), 15 meat goats (Boer & Boer Crosses), Ducks, Rabbits, Chickens and dogs. We make milk and cheese products for our own consumption and to feed out bottle babies. We maintain a large truck garden. Our animal population varies widely as we buy and sell often at a local auction in Danville Ohio.

My wife likes to call our Saanen named Sunny, a marshmallow. If we had to get rid of all the goats she would still keep her. She is just a love bug. Most of out alpines are friendly. The Boers and crosses can mostly take or leave us.
