I've lived for the past 6 years right outside Franklin, WV as well. I love the area of VA that is near that border....the Blue Grass Valley is my favorite drive and Monterey in Highland Co. VA is my favorite small town. Sort of like Mayberry. No more beautiful land to be found in those areas of WV and VA.
