New from west virginia

we found someone a few hours away that is getting out of the dairy goat business and we are going to go check them out. She has three that she wants rid of two milking does and a doeling. So I’ll keep y’all updated as to weather we get them or not.

It's good to ask if they've tested for Johnes, CAE (Caprine Arthritis Encephalitis), CL (Caseous Lymphadenitis). It is so hard to find out after they come home that they have a communicable disease that could have been avoided. Maybe they have the lab reports or a vet statement.

Our 3 year old grand daughter loves Mean Rooster Soup and is happy for me to kill a rooster for her. She likes the pigs, and knows pork chops and bacon comes from them. Our 11 year old grand daughter loves to cuddle the baby lambs, but is ok with eating lamb chops. The 22 month old is still too young to understand.

It's all how it is presented. Some kids are ok with it, some are not.
