Ridin' The Range
Hello! I have been reading BackyardChickens.com for sometime and was looking for information on raising goats today and found this site. I hope it is just as informative as the other one. I don't have my baby goats yet, but the deposit is made. I am just waiting on them to be weaned. I get to pick them up on October 2nd. I can't wait. They are just the most adorable things ever.
Peanut and Coal are Fainter/Nigerian Dwarf crosses. They are both bucks and will be raised together for a while. I didn't want them to be lonely and they are brothers. Later on they will have their own little herds when my son and his fiance take Coal to their house. I hope to find a couple of cute little Fainter does to breed them with next spring.
