Welcome from Ohio! I liked your video, your setup looks very nice. The chickens are sure quieter than the turkeys :) Are those Katahdin sheep?

Yes the white one is Katahdin, and the baby. The brown one is a Katahdin/Dorper cross.
Thanks for the welcome!!

Welcome from NH! We raise goats, pigs, chickens and turkeys. I can't see your video (I am using my cell phone, so videos don't work), what kind of turkeys do you have? We have black spanish crosses and chocolate turkeys.

We have Royal Palm and Naragansett. Thanks for the warm welcome!

Narragansett is my favorite breed! We just haven't found any near us yet. Someday!

We had to ship in day old chicks. Turkey chicks are more sensitive than chicken chicks. We lost a few in shipping. Once they get to be about 3 weeks old they are pretty hardy though, Nar are hardier than some of the other breeds.

Welcome from NW Mississippi! :frow
Ya have a really nice set-up there it looks like, and the video was really good, enjoyed it. We used to be a neighbor down there, but was NE of where you are, in a little place named Groveland...we moved in '06 up here in Ms. I used to drive big trucks, and the last job I had was a local job delivering soils to nurseries all over, so am familiar with your area there. We have goats, chickens, ducks, and cats and have a great time never catching up on the "To Do List" because it just keeps growing well past our abilities to keep up with it. I know you'll enjoy the community here, there are many wonderful people to communicate with no matter the situation ya may be confronted with...again...:welcome

Where the green grass grows
Hello everyone, my name is Denice and my other half is Mike. We have a small farm about an hour east of Sarasota, FL. We have only been here 2 years. We raise Turkeys, Chickens, and Sheep. We are very small scale, but we love it here. I thought the best way to introduce ourselves was to share a video of our place.

I hope this works and you are able to see the video, I am a novice at doing videos.
Welcome to BYH! If I'm not mistaken I remember there was a Gorman Farms on YouTube that had Bourbon Reds...would that be you? I'm just getting started with turkeys myself...

Anyway, welcome to BYH! :)
