Welcome @Izzysmom10 and @chickadoodles from Indiana, Morgan Co. just SW of Indianapolis.
If you have questions on the rabbits there are quite a few on here that are very knowledgeable.
@Bunnylady & @Samantha drawz for example. I can help you out with some bunny related things, but where I fall short, these two and some others can definitely run off their experience. Depending on what you are planning to do with the kits, they mature fast and before you know it are weaned and old enough to sell or process to eat/sell. Good luck!

Thank you all so much for such A warm welcome! Nice to see you Latestarter!
We bought our first pair of mixed rabbits to raise for meat. We are excited to have our first litter of kits.
We are wondering what age to take the kits from their momma to put into grow outs. I will separate them by sex at that point.

A big howdy and welcome from the Great Lone Star State, where the stars at night are big and bright! Looking forward to hearing of your adventures in the world of animals, @Izzysmom10 and @chickadoodles! Lots of variety here with animals and the folks who take care of them. Good folks to ask questions!

Glad both of you found us!

You can wean them once they will drink either from a bowl or nozzle, and once they are eating the hay or pellets you feed the doe. Usually for me it is around 4-6 weeks. I generally leave one kit back with the doe for an additional week to help the doe if she has milk left. If they have not grown to processing weight of abt 5lbs by 10 weeks, I generally separate by sex around 11 or 12 weeks. They begin getting sexually mature by then.
