Thank you so much @Nifty for this forum. It is beyond words to express how grateful we are to have this forum. Many of us have no close friends or family that understand why we would rather scoop poop, go outside in the rain to feed and care for animals, work in the heat and get soaked in sweat, get kicked, bit, stomped, butted, and go back for more. The magic of this forum sets us free. There really are other people that are mad dog nuts, just like me!

I really appreciate the discussion on the Pasture forum. We need a general discussion where we can share our ups and downs in growing healthy pastures for our animals. There's another subject that is of NO interest to just about all the people I know, but is of utmost importance here on BYH. Thank you for all that you do. I can't wait for the Pasture Forum!!

Hey there @Nifty Hope your eyes are better! No permanent damage I hope. Glad to hear you're considering adding a new (sub-)section for pastures under the general herd area. I really think it will benefit many as they deal with re-claiming pasture, weed control, grass/forb/herb selection for re/overseeding etc. I'd be interested in what would be a good pasture mix for the livestock, but ALSO benefit pollinators, specifically honey bees.

Good news everyone We've decided to go ahead and create a pasture sub-section! Now… we need your help!

First of all, we'd like YOU to suggest a name for the sub-section and secondly, suggest where in this section to put it.

Secondly, we want to ask if you'd please post links to any and all existing pasture management threads that should/could be moved into the new section. You can post links to the threads in response to this thread here.

I was finding so many, even being selective, that I stopped Time consuming for sure (hugs@Sumi )

I'd have no idea what to do when I get to the cattle/pasture section... Maybe that whole thing should move? @WildRoseBeef ? You're a pasture fanatic/guru, what say you? move it or leave it where it is, or maybe leave some/move some? I to those more adept/knowledgeable than I.
