I have access to a large commercial kitchen that serves mostly organic vegies/fruits and we get lots of fresh trimmings. I tend to feed my goats alot of raw vegies and fruits especially in the wintertime, but the couple of goats I adopted this winter haven't a clue yet that that stuff might be tasty. My goats look very sleek and shiny. I feed it in addition to their normal hay and grain. Do the same for the pigs (theirs gets cooked in water and mixed warm with their grain in the winter, fed raw in warm months) and chickens, turkeys, ducks, (I chop theirs small and feed raw.) I pick out carrot ends and peelings for the horses and bunnies.
