Hi! :frow I am getting my first nuc of bees this spring! I have had chickens for a long time and have been on BYC for many years. I am now venturing over here because this is where they say the bee forums are at!
I also have a garden, a couple of turkeys and I do a lot of canning.
My first question is is it alright to paint the outside of my bee hive ( brood box) with exterior acrylic paint? I know the exterior part is alright, but I'm not sure if the acrylic part is okay.

Hi Karen,

Sorry that this went unanswered so long. I am sure you have already paiinted your hives by now. It is okay to use exterior acrylic paint on your hives.
