My nameisTammy I live in a small town in Sc. I have 5 dogs, 11 chickens, 1 cat, 1 Fainting goat and 2 grazing goats. I am wanting to get mini donkey. Unsure as to begin with Jake or Jenny.

Hi, and welcome from Texas! I think you'd enjoy starting with a Jenny or a gelded Jack. Intact Jacks can be a handful. Not that they're all bad, but the one I had liked to pick up the goats and throw them across the field. The vet was out the next day and he got a major attitude adjustment!

Hi everyone, I'm new and wanted to introduce myself. I live in TN, but we are moving back to our homeplace and farm in Virginia. We have two bottle fed girl lambs to take with us when we move. We can't wait! I'm new at learning to take care of sheep, so this forum is a blessing. We also plan on getting pygmy goats.
