Ya'll are gonna hate me. Hay was $3.50 a bale last time I bought it and I just got 200 for free from a local last week (and it is really really nice stuff, never rained on, well dried-I had a friend who grows his own check it for me first before I took and I he about play slugged me once he saw it wasn't junk). I got super duper lucky. Okay got ahead and throw stuff at me.
I have six Nigerians and we go through 2-3 bales a week, less when they get to browse in the summer/spring. I still keep them stocked in it even when they are out in the field though.
