I have been keeping an eye open for some nice starter goats for my parents to begin a meat herd with. So far, we have our adorable little "Gwendolyn" from Rolls (mom and dad renamed her...I was calling her Bernadette) and then last night I ran into a great deal for a registerable Boki doeling. Her mom developed seriously nasty mastitis and they didn't have time for bottle feeding so here she is...

She is the loviest thing. She is inside for now. :love

My goodness, such wonderful markings! This one looks like she's spoiled already! LOL! Congrats on the new addition to your parents' herd!

Her coat is so pretty, especially in the daylight. Those nice orange/cinnamon toned spots just pop on her white background. It seems like she might have a wry tail but she is not going for show so not a big deal.

She is quite possibly the tamest goat I have ever met. Last night, she slept on our couch next to DH for hours. He didn't want to get up and disturb her

I am so glad we found her. To say the least, I kind of think we saved her.

And yet people say anything with Kiko is wild. Ppfftt Kikos are very sweet if you pay attention to them.

Congrats again. You'll love the meat goat world. It's easier and simpler.
