Ok, I know where I can get "natural" feed for pigs without bending over and taking it, but how do I know if the feed I am buying is GMO or not? I buy COB but don't know if the corn is modified? How can I find that out? :/

Feed corn is almost always GM. 88% of the corn grown in the US is GM. You can try asking what strain of corn it is, but you may not get an answer. If you do get an answer that it is not GM, you have to determine if you trust that they are telling the truth. Unless it is certified organic, I wouldn't trust any corn or soy to be non-GM.

All our chicken feed and any feed we buy for our dairy goats comes from Modesto Milling. They have great products. We've always been happy with them and confident that we really are getting GMO-free grains.

I do know about Modesto Milling...so overpriced its sad! I have actually had animals NOT EAT instead of eating the MM food. It was weird. Is there anyway else to find out on a Mfg tag??

All my animals love MM, and I found their prices to be very reasonable. The other brands I have found in CA that are certified organic are Rogue, Cascade, and Kruse; and all of those are AT LEAST $5 to $10 MORE per bag than MM.

The only way to be sure is if it's certified organic.
