The ram actually still lives with them all. I'm working on pasturing off other areas and getting him separated when I find another ram for him to live with. The lesson I learned this year is that winter lambing in Michigan suuucks. Bundling up every 30-60 minutes because my ewes like to give birth between 10pm and 2am is no fun.

I'll try and get some pictures up today. I've got some I took of her over the last couple of months on my cell phone. As far as BCS, that's what got me thinking she's just fan. I felt her spine the other day while she at some hay and there wasn't much to be felt there. I could feel the ridge but not by much, and nothing on either side.

5/18 and she had a healthy single today, so 10 days after her bag starting to come in and a little over 3 months after everyone else had theirs.

Congrats on your lamb! Our ewes have all been in with the ram all winter long. Our first lamb was born 7 March and we have one ewe left to go (middle of May). The first one to lamb was a maiden ewe, this last one is easily 7 or 8. She has not developed an udder, but she is huge. The babies were palpable when we had her sheared last week. Some just don't breed on the first cycle...
