Hi everyone,

Just discovered this treasure trove of a place having been a member of BYC for some time now. Having rescued our chickens from commercial farming, We have caught the homesteading bug and are hoping to expand our flock with other great characters soon and of course learn from everyone here along the way!

Sorry totally forgot to say that we are two wannabe country bumpkins stuck in the city, Manchester UK.
We also have two cats, both of whom are scared stiff of the chickens and can we egularly be found running past followed by a chicken on the rampage!

We're a bit short on space at the moment, but hoping to move further away from the city in the not too distant future and get ourselves a bit more room - I know probably easier said than done.
So first on my list is goats, maybe just a couple to start with while we learn all about them and their mischief. Ultimately I'd love more birds, turkeys ducks and geese, and alpacas - but we'll see doesn't hurt to dream!
