any recommendations of good books to read about Nigerian Dwarfs?

I don't really know of any books about Nigerians specifically. We have Storey's Guide to Raising Dairy Goats. It has some good information, and some that's a little outdated.

But, we really eased in. Bought 3 three month old doelings 5 years ago. Then we got a buck. Then we had some babies. Then we got another buck...... That's how it goes.

Pulled this old thread out because we learned that Evan Evans the judge in this show passed away today
One of ADGA's most respected judges
Her family has owned a dairy in SC for 40 years ( Split Creek Farm )
So proud she picked one of my animals as a grand champion
She had a double lung transplant 4 years ago
She judged a show in FL on Sat and died of pneumonia today

Yes, we were at that show Sunday.

So sad, though I'm glad she spent her last days able to do what she loved.

On a side note: Exhibitors were lifting up all but the largest Jr does for her so she didn't have to bend over. (It was a Nigerian only show.)
