Hey folks, he's a calf, he'll most likely grow out of his leg thingy you kitty were wondering about. He looks like he's got a LOT of potential for an 8-week old calf. His momma looks good too from the pics. :)
That would be nice. I've seen a couple cows with hind legs out behind them like that though. It's why I was wondering if it's just the way he was standing at the time the pics were taken or if he stands that way normally.

I tried to explain alittle on the other post, we're in the market for a bull, but not in a possition to buy, my dad said he was open to possibly making some swaps, I originally didn't even consider this one, last time I saw him he was pretty tiny and his mom's not real big, this is her first calf. But when I saw him yesterday I was thinking he's looking pretty good!

Unfortunately, as I'm sure you all can tell, I don't really know enough to pick a potential bull. The only thing I really can look at is, if they grow pretty good, and of course I know what I like.

Of course all calves are cute, but I just like the looks of this one, and this is the only calf that is not related to any of our cows!

Here is his mom,

She's not real big, but she's young and still growing, she was also a bottle calf. I have no idea about his dad!

Yes I was right about this calf's momma. :) I'm sure his sire is pretty good, because the calf sure looks nice at his age!

I guess we'll hold onto him for now, and I'll post updated pics as he grows to see if/how the opinions change.
