Goat heaven, maybe, but the fence was downed in at least one spot in the back of the property by falling timber, so we definitely have to get out there and restring it before we can set them loose. And since we can't get out there until the pasture is cleared... 
And we may get a Jersey cow in the fall, so we need good grazing. We probably will leave some of the smaller oaks and pines for the goats to munch on, though.
Also, we have no idea if there's something toxic out there. We can't see past a few hundred feet, and walking in the mess is useless, and both of us are afraid of snakes.
