We picked up our new babies today and I'm in LOVE. We've been outside with them all afternoon and one little guy finally let me pet him. I do have one that just keeps hollering. I'm assuming that's normal but not sure. We set them up temporary houses until their pen is finished. They have not gone over near it so I'm wondering if I need to help them find it. It's really hot here so I don't know if I need to put something in there. It's the blue 55 g barrels and I'm afraid they might slide around but I think hay would be too hot right now. Okay, here are some pictures :D Sorry for the overload

Thanks, they refused to go in the barrels. My husband moved them around to a few locations in the back but they just looked at us like we were crazy. It started to rain so they get the luxury of sleeping on the back porch tonight

Put some straw or shavings into the barrels with a little bit of hay at the back and I think they will probably give them a try. They are probably all 4 gonna want to sleep together though and I'm thinking 4 aren't gonna fit into one of those barrels :/

The one that's a screamer may just miss his old home...or he may be a screamer...time will tell.

Congratulations! They are very cute!

Oh they are all so adorable. Congratulations on them. Some goats just scream. I have 3 that are very vocal. My 1 buck is usually really quiet. If he starts to yell or scream I now something is really wrong. I don't know about the baby yet. Hopefully she does not scream like her mommy. LOL

Just an update:
They are doing Great! The one that was screaming has calmed down. We've been out with them pretty much all day this week. They are following us around everywhere and letting us pet them. The darker brown one has really taken up with my 4 year old and they are so sweet together. They have been staying on our back porch at night because they won't go in the barrels. My husband is working hard to get their pen and barn ready so they can move. I'm so glad that I got them and I definitely see more goats in our future.
