I noticed one of my kids has some funny looking manure today. It's alternating between normal pellets and really soft, first one, then a few minutes later the other is coming out. It's a weird color, sort of a very pale yellowish green.

He was treated with Di-Methox drench a couple of weeks ago as a routine cocci prevention, and about four days ago I found some lice hiding in his thick hair when I trimmed him down for the summer, so I treated him with ivermectin and they're gone now. He was a little thin, so yesterday I started him on some grain, I gave him about a quarter of a cup. He's eating fine today, temperature is normal, and his eyelids are nice and pink. I would expect him to have a little bit of diarrhea with the diet change, but I've never seen it pale colored like this. Any idea what could be making it a weird color?

Well, now he's going downhill. He's straining like he is going to poop, but nothing comes out. He's hunched up standing in a corner with his eyes closed, looking absolutely miserable. I'm not sure what's going on, so I'm going to give him some baking soda, vitamin B, and probiotics.

Another round of Di-Methox? He was just treated for five days about two weeks ago, but I can go ahead and hit him with it again.
