We can’t stop living because we might die. We might live! Make an arrangement with the breeder to take the dog back if something happens to you, for your peace of mind. Obviously Fen would stay with Randy. Make arrangements for Boone as well. Then proceed with living. ❤️

I’ve thought a lot about that. I wish I knew someplace Boone could go. Hoping the dog trainer down the road would consider it. Hoping I can find her and talk to her next spring.

Made a Shepherds Pie with ground beef last night since I have no sheep 😞
That was an awesome lunch, got my Beer Soap wrapped and some Comfrey salve shrink wrapped and boxed up for Cody’s birthday, along with a card to tell him how much he means to me. Hard to believe my baby is 47. 🫨

Boone was super obnoxious last night. He’s definitely an adolescent and was annoying Fen and annoying me. He was groaning and carrying on, taking my arm in his mouth (very gently ) trying to convince me to share my dinner. He would NOT listen, so I clipped the e collar on him and he was stellar. He went under the table by my feet when asked, which he NEVER does, and laid quietly and patiently at my feet, earning the biggest and best reward I could come up with. I never had to go beyond the tone. I am very encouraged that he IS able to use impulse control when pressed.
Fen was able to enjoy his Freezebone at lunch without Boone taking it from him (no collar). I think Boone is worn out as he got two large beef hocks and shanks this morning and had a great time with them.

I need to make shrimp fried rice for dinner and since the cheesecloth got here I am going to strain the tallow again and mix it with the Jojoba, Vit E, and Sweet Almond oil and whip it. I have more sold than I can produce right now but I will do what I can.
I was bee bopping along just fine this morning when someone disconnected my battery and I was instantly exhausted. I hate when this happens. 🤬
I need to locate my Adderal so I can finish out the day.
My challenge for today is to find labels that will fit my tallow jars which I can print on my little Munbyn printer. Tomorrow is baking day. I have 2 loaves of sourdough cold proofing but I’m gonna take one out tonight and make Foccaccia in the morning. I saw a recipe for a cinnamon apple one that looks promising.
Nap time. I lose. 🥹

Found the Adderal, got the tallow cream made and HOT DAMN! That is some beautiful stuff. Even better than what I used to make. I added Sweet Almond Oil to help it soak in better and jojoba because it’s so super good for skin plus it’s antibacterial, and little bit of Vitamin E.
I whipped it and OMG it’s so awesome!
The reason I needed tallow was because my hands have been so dry they hurt and my skin‘s been like really itchy and scaly and nothing has been helping and I used to use a long time ago and I remember it was really good. This stuff is the bomb. I’m so excited. I think my people are really gonna like it. They’re gonna like it even better than the stuff I made before.
It’s so nice when something finally goes right!
Now I had to order boxes for shipping and labels that fit my jars and inner liners for the jars so there goes my profit, but God will provide, right?

Made shrimp fried rice for dinner cuz I had a bunch of rice leftover from dinner a few days ago. Randy is happy anytime he gets shrimp, which isn’t often, living in the high desert.

But it was quick and easy to make in my old wok. I haven’t used it a lot but as easy as this was and as much as he liked it, I will need to find more stir fry recipes. Its great only having one pan to wash.

I had him try the tallow. He liked it so much he actually helped me get the other half of the leaf fat ground up and into the crock pot.
Long day but it’s done ☺️

PL pretty high today, probably due ro changing weather and being on my feet all day yesterday. Hard to distract myself but at least my skin feels better. This stuff really helped the itching, so I’m grateful for that.
2nd batch tallow rendering. Hoping to do a focaccia with the SD dough I made on Friday. I can do a boule with the other.
I hurt really bad and am gonna have to really push myself to get to the kitchen and peel/chunk up an apple. I feel nauseated, probably from the pain. Next 3 days will likely be rough cuz of rain, then snow, which means I won’t be able to process the rabids again. I just gotta get through it and there will be another good day coming
ATM it feels pretty far away 🥹
