Not all were horrid. This young feller gets a raw deal and was not a happy camper this morning when the invasion began, but Boone turned it all around for him.

@peteyfoozer I can't imagine Randy doesn't discuss the pain, health issues you 2 have -- being compounded by the ungrateful, demanding family there, with the man of that family!!! 😡. Hurt their feelings?? So what -- the actions are just indefensible. I'm betting they have contributed nothing toward foods. They're the kind of visitors you don't want.

I’m holding my breath. Going through labor was easier, but it’s nearly over. I packed the kids off with 10 lb of tumbled rocks, Caroline picked out fabric for a dress she wants me to make her, laser slingshots for the boys (who have had regular ones for years) and hopefully all their dirty clothes that Boone didn’t swallow.
Their mom said “Tess said we should just leave the kids for a few weeks” and I blurted out that Kathryn could stay with Tess then. Apparently when you are over your stress level you lose control of your tongue…the one you’ve been biting all week. It’s very sad, really, because they created a tyrant that other people won’t want to be around. It’s not the child’s fault she’s so awful as she’s been trained to be like that. At 3 she’s not potty trained, still nurses, screams shrilly for hours until she gets her way, destroys anything and everything in her reach…🤢. I’m not saying it’s my business how long someone nurses or waits to potty train, but it’s a whole package. Soon we will be able to breathe freely and I’m grateful for that.
May I never forget what this week was like so we don’t ever make this mistake again.
Tomorrow will be a better day, pain or no pain.

Randy never rocks the boat. He allows it and they have no respect for him either.
I’m grateful this chapter is over. They won’t return if I have anything to say about it. If they do, I will kiss my horse goodbye and Boone and I will find a bridge to live under.

I really want to thank you guys and express my appreciation for hanging in there for me. Living isolated like we do makes it very hard when emotions get so raw and overwhelming.
God bless you ❤️
I’m able to breathe, pretty sure my bp is within safe parameters once again. Boone was sorry to see them leave because he’s a dog and likes kids no matter how ill behaved they might be or how irresponsible the parents. It’s always been a source of amazement to me how much Livestock Guardian breeds love children. All children. Any children. They will even do things completely out of character for them.
In the big pasture below Mister’s corral, there is what we call “the octopus tree”. It has multiple trunks and branches that grow close to the ground in all directions. It was a favorite spot for my older grandkids to go play in the branches with the goats and sheep. Even though they were total strangers to Bruno and Mr Potamus, Bru would herd the adult cows to the bottom of the pasture and prevent them from going anywhere near the kids, while Potamus would sit close by the tree and supervise the littles. They would climb out of their fences and escort the kids everywhere they roamed on the ranch. They just have a natural affinity to protect children.
Those were great visits!

You can ALWAYS come here to unload. I think I’d be cracking Randy in the head with a skillet. That and going to bed and telling him to do the dishes. So you are suffering in pain and I hope he had a ‘effing good time. GRRR

Those are the kind of visitors you NEVER want to see again.
