I think I made a mistake. I should have kept the New Zealand doe and psyched myself up to dispatch the other two because its a little easier to process ugly white rabbits than the cool colored ones 😬
But the one you dispatched ripped you up awhile back right? Then it WAS the right choice.

I had someone who wanted to buy EVERYTHING I had, that was all things rabbit, but then we realized the big hutch is never going anywhere as it took 6 cowboys to move it across the yard and the snow from the roof slid off and buried the triple stack, luckily no one lived in it at the time. It’s melted down to the bottom of second stack now. After getting rid of one doe, things are far more manageable. I can easily take care of the 2 remaining does and the buck in the big hutch. I just need to get him to help me to process the litters. I made rabid cacciatore last night that was SO good!! I think it made him more amenable to keeping them.
He complained however, that leftovers never taste good. It was a big dinner that I made so he’s getting leftovers whether he likes them or not.

I am not sure what is responsible for how I feel today, but my pain levels are down almost nothing, like a normal person, except for my hand. I honestly don’t remember how many years it’s been since I felt this good. I did a deep clean on the kitchen, even vacuuming then mopping floors. I had a bunch of sourdough starter (Jane dough) so I have pizza crust going that I am gonna freeze for one of those nights when I feel crummy. We’re having leftovers tonight so I decided at 2 o’clock to take a break just to make sure I don’t wind up crippled tomorrow. Boone has his vet appointment in town so I need to be able to manage him. I think it’s a DMSO doing this, because my back isn’t even hurting, which is insane! I hope I feel this good next summer and I still have a horse to ride. I’m gonna try some strength exercises and see if I can handle it.

Now come back tomorrow and tell us how you feel. When you have a “I can do anything” day, you pay for it the next.

I really really hope that you feel fantastic tomorrow and are full of energy!
