I never learned to ride, my parents forbade it.

When I was in my 30s a friend who raised Welsh ponies gave me driving lessons. That was fun.

Kinda sad news, for me. I was really hoping to get another English Shepherd, since Fen chose Randy. Fen’s breeder rebred his sister and I was praying for a little sable female out of the litter. Unfortunately, she whelped last night and only had 2 pups, both male. She usually has a pretty long list of prospective puppy buyers so there’s not much chance of my getting a puppy this year. 😞

Maybe you should get an unrelated female, do you could raise your own puppies. There seems to be a high demand and low supply.

I bred horses for decades. Sheep, goats, cows, I enjoyed raising all of them, but I could never bring myself to deal with a litter of puppies 😂
