Glad to hear that they are settling in well :D!

13"? Do you know how old he is? That is REALLY tiny :ep if he is full grown. Now I really cant wait to see pics :celebrate.

In the case that you do become addicted you can look up some of the breeders & clubs in your area on the NPGA site to ;).

I just checked, & there is a PA Pygmy Club listed.

Pennsylvania
Keystone Pygmy Goat Club
(serving all of Region 5)
Maggie Leman
1205 Olive Branch Rd.
Durham, NC 27703
(919) 596-0984
maggidans@msn.com
http://www.keystonepygmygoatclub.com

If you do happen to look up their list of breeders at some point, some are outdated so you will have to double check that. Yep I am officially the pygmy enabler xD  . Cant wait to see pics!

Okay I got some pics of the new additions:) sorry the pics are kinda crappy.

This is Sawyer the little buck....he is supposedly 1.5 yrs old. We measured him at 14" today. He looks younger to me.

This is Jersey she is 2 yrs. I'm positive she is not pregnant because she acted as though she was in heat when she saw my buck Tonka. She isn't acting that way with sawyer though so idk.

This doe doesn't have a name yet:( hubby calls her big head:p At first the previous owner said she was 5 but the paperwork he gave me says 2.5 yrs old. Does she look like a pygmy? Never saw a die with long hair like this. Her belly feels like a beach ball! It was hard to get good behind pics with all that hair.

Let me know what you think:)

I thought I'dpost a couple pics of my does Emma and Savanah. They were in heat and put with my buck for the week of Nov.17th. Saw lots of flirting but never witnessed the deed. I'm hopeing they are bred.

Definitely mixes. Id say Doe #2 is pregnant (do I see a small udder?), & id like a rear view of the black doe. My purebred girl kept on having "heats" till mid Jan last year. She delivered May 2nd lol.

I need to upload some pics of my bunch. Id guess Jersey is open, but I may be wrong. You could send in blood to Biotracking or WADDL or get them ultrasounded to be positive ;). I couldnt give you an age for the buck :/. Didnt post it earlier (on my NOOK again), but Savannah is adorable <2. With the horns she looks like those little deer at the zoo. I think they are called Dik Dik or something. Anyways id guess her & your fainter are expecting as well, but dont take my word for it. Cant tell if she is a PB or not. Her markings match up, & she looks about the right size & proportions though.

My PB doe Mei, due between March 18th & April 12th. She is the one with weird heats. Yet again I was very :ep when I realized she was in labor May 2nd instead of mid June . PS No, she doesnt appreciate me harassing her to take pictures.

My mix Zoe. She has a 1/2 belly band on her other side & is due in the same period as Mei. Probably closer to March 19th.

Crap pic of my PB buck Tatonka.
2nknhit.jpg

I never registered Mei or Tonka when I got them but will be registering Mei this month or next. Tonka will be kept unregistered because he needs corrective hoof trimming every time (they naturally grow weird), has narrow shoulders, & obviously he doesnt meet the color standard (& has passed it to a son) so once I bring in a new buck or 2 I will be breeding him to Zoe only because he has passed on nice wide hips & beautiful dished faces. Ill be keeping him for life because I bottle raised him, & he has the sweetest personality. It doesnt hurt that he doesnt really smell either lol.

My keeper wether from last year, Zane. PB but also not registered. He is as sweet as his dad Tonka :).

Not pictured is the mix buck I have that is Tonka's pal in the off season, Mei's other son, & Zoe's twin wethers because I never take pics of my mix buck lol, & the other 3 arent keepers.

Here's my Ginger's baby daddy, Romeo, who was the sweetest goat I had ever met (owned by someone else):

8037_romeo2.jpg

The one in the back is Trixie, and the one in the front is the infamous "Ginger" who will be holding the Guiness World Book of Records for the longest goat pregnancy known to man (not really, but seems like it). Ginger is 3 years old and Trixie is a year this month and she's Ginger's daughter from her first pregnancy. They are absolute sweethearts, albeit subborn as mules, well at least Ginger is with holding out with the doe code!
