This is a set of homebred March 2012 F1 twins we retained for our milk string, along with a pic of their dam's udder. I can't wait for them to freshen next year and see what we end up with in terms of mammary systems, production capabilities, and efficiency of feed conversion. They're completely different in terms of conformation, so it'll be interesting to see the differences in udders when they freshen. If I'm exceptionally lucky they'll both get their dam's udder. When they freshen I'll share our milk records and ration.
