I just brought home a Nigerian doe (Melina) to the farm. On the way home I heard her cough twice. She just weaned a buckling and is about two years old.
This morning she has yellow eye discharge, not runny just almost like eye gunk people get in the mornings. Her eyes aren't gooey but they must have been at some point. Her nose is running and looks either clear or just barely yellow. She is energetic, eating and drinking and snorting at our dogs when they walk too close. Any thoughts?
Also found out the woman who sold Melina to me had bought goats from a breeder yesterday who has a sick goat today and was in contact with my doe, runny eyes and a runny nose. I have a vet appointment for tomorrow at 4 but wanted to know if there's anything I should be doing today.
