Talk to Premier 1, they have horned goats, too, and can advise you about avoiding problems. Goats are smart and pretty much a poster child for 'once burned, twice shy' about electric fencing.

oh only 60 pounds. That’s a bit easier to contain mime are 122 - 140 pounds apiece If theyre horns get stuck in cages Often you can take a piece of PVC pipe and attach it to both of them so it goes in between their horns to prevent that from happening

Goats -- they will insist on eating the grass on the opposite side of the fence from them...SAME grass!! I have a couple who can jump a 4' fence with ease. There is no rhyme or reason...except "because they can". They are quite intelligent, memory of an elephant and forever an amusement. Whenever mine are out, if not already in my yard eating what they should not -- I just throw some feed in the trough and they run back to the escape hatch, enter and come to eat. Then I go fix the hole. OK, I outsmarted them with that one! :D

Maybe you could assemble the panels near trees and expand their area by attaching to trees? Tie with baling twine (the best that every homesteader has!!) And move them often.

Do you know how she is getting out? possibly another post along a loose fence line would solve the problem?

My two Nigerians are very well behaved for goats lol my two year old whether nunu boy loved getting into trouble when we boarded him at another facility a while back lol Cant tell u how many times I’d call for updates and my barn manager would tell me so many naughty things he’d done just to give her quite a nasty headache lol she’s owned a whole herd of goats before so thankfully she was used to it but dang was he ever a lil tyrant around her lol jumped a four foot tall horse stall door and would run a muck until morning when barn staff would find him in all kinds of trouble lol they had to put a 2x4 plank of wood across the doorway a foot above the door so that made it technically a five foot door that luckily kept him contained after that. He enjoyed being extra sneaky too lol tried so many times to run off the second i opened the stall door lol loved trying to hop in to other boarders cars if he heard a car door slam cuz that to him signaled a quick joy ride in town lol he also loved climbing into the hay loft via the old tractor everyone used for mucking out stalls lol & even tho he knew where the staircase for the loft was he’d sit there screaming like a cat stuck in a tree til someone would come up there and carry him back down lol lil jerk would cause so much chaos it was ridiculous hahaha now he’s much more behaved I can actually keep him contained in the stall and he actually behaves outside when grazing lol lil stinker is so spoiled rotten now he has to be laying in your lap all chilled out for us to even trim his hooves! Seriously so spoiled he’s gotta be treated like royalty lol good lord he’s such a goober! He’s so spoiled that we even treat him to an occasional bath and hoof trim at our friends grooming salon once in a while he’s so well behaved better the other dogs that we can have her blow dry him with her huge & very loud pet hair dryer! He’s a luv bug what can I say? Lol
