Possible new goat

I may be trading a boer doe kid for a saanan buck kid.
The goat is not registered so its no telling if he is a saanan. All I know is he is white. LOL
Anyway is anyone on here familiar with the breed and be able to tell me what to look for in a good saanan.
Also I am thinking about breeding him to my boer. Am I courting disaster here as far as the match goes.

There are no doubt people on this forum with more Saanen experience than me. What I'd say, though, is I *LOVE* my one Saanen (who admittedly is 1/4 Oberhasli). She is beautiful, built like an outhouse, robustly healthy, seems to be naturally parasite resistant, makes a ton of milk, has a perfect mammary system, and the greatest mellow personality. She's my last doe to kid this year (end of June) and I am PRAYING for a girl(s). What else could you want?

I changed my mind about that goat. I have decided that if I get one I want it to be a Saanan doe of known heritage and from CAE and CL neg background.
