This is my mini nubian Marshmallow. I got her about a month ago and she was bred right before I picked her up. She is becoming more pushy with the other girls which I know can be a sign of pregnancy and I would think a month is awfully early to be showing but her belly looks fuller than it did when I brought her home. All my girls are a little "sideways chubby" its the pooch underneath that has me curious. What do you think?

If I were you, I would get a blood pregnancy test done. I draw my own blood and send it off to www.biotracking.com. I pay $6.50 for the pregnancy test and $4 to $5 dollars to ship it. It is well worth it for me to know. If you can not draw your own blood, you could have your vet draw the blood and send in the test.

I don't know what to tell you. But, she's pretty :)

But, I've got a Nigerian doe with the same color markings. In horses I think it's called "roan" when the colored hairs are interspersed with the white to give it that look.

In goats when it is black and white like her. I've seen it called "agudy" or "silver agudy" (again, I think and not sure if that's spelled correctly)

Mines name is "Cookie" and she is one of our best looking animals. She's on the home page of our website. You can't tell how closely they look because she's clipped.

I have used a human pregnancy test on my goats with great success. The only thing is, you have to wait for the doe to stop and get the test in the urine stream. All these tests are looking for the HCG which shows up in a pregnant doe. The test doesn't tell a producer how far along the pregnancy is though.

It does sound odd and my wife thinks I am crazy too. It works though, but it is a bit time consuming though. I usually have to confine the doe in a stall in the barn.:)
