Pygmy close to labor?

Hi. We bought a pregnant pygmy goat at the sale barn a little over a month ago. We aren't sure how far along she is. We are new to this and I was wondering if anyone could tell me if they think she is close to being in labor. She has had white thick discharge for 3 days now.

Greetings and welcome to BYH from NE TX! So glad you joined us. Typically the discharge turns a yellowish color when close to delivering. They can lose their mucous plug up to 6 weeks before birth or a day before. Since you don't have a history for her, you'll just have to kinda wing it and just keep watch. Good luck! There's a wealth of info, knowledge and experience shared in the multitude of threads. Browse around and see what interesting stuff you can find. By all means post away when the desire strikes you, especially if you have questions (provide as much detail/info as possible and pictures truly help)... No not yet. She seems very grouchy today. When I tried to touch her side she acted like she was going to bite me.
