Hi all, so about 4 days ago I saw Sass, my ND doe, get bred multiple times. I didn't see her get bred again but today our buck kept breeding her, so I was wondering if she didn't take, but I'd be surprised if she came back into heat so soon...?

Thanks

If she is standing for a breeding, she is in heat. It is possible for her to come back into heat sooner this time of year, but do keep an eye on her in case she keeps cycling (which could indicate cysts).

OK, thanks, the buck is running in with does so I'll check if she keeps standing for being bred.

Whats a cyst and how do you deal with it?

Sometimes a doe who is short cycling has cysts on her ovaries that will need to be taken care of by a vet Rx. It isn't likely that that is what is happening but if a pregnancy doesn't take and she continues to short cycle, you may want to consider that she has cysts.
