Ok so tomorrow I'm picking up 3 californian does, 8months old.
I have a steralite container with 1"x2" wire stapled to one side and the top for ventalation (they will be in heated car).....if I put two pices of boards inside to make "3" sections, will this be enough space for a 1 hour trip? The container again, is wire on top and one side.....and 17 & 1/2 w x 24 & 1/2" long and 13 3/4" high? Would two be able to fit comfortably for an hour in the car? I have no idea in person the size of a californian....sorry....

You should be able to fit two (definitely not three) Californians inside that traveling cage. By 8 months old, these rabbits will be full grown. A small cage is good, it makes them feel more secure inside of the moving vehicle.

you should bring a towel to put on top of the container, they can get really stressed out by the cars and other stuff
