Real good article! In our bigger is better society, often it’s not. I like this article’s message-respect the chicken. Try to give it a more natural life.

So how do they know if you have chickens? Is it honor system to let them know? Do they fly drones over? Nosey neighbors? Especially if your chickens are confined and not free ranging.
I hide my coop from the road, behind my shed.

Great article. Breed for immunity. I never understood why they went in and decimated entire flocks. The media gives the impression entire flocks - those that are exterminated - are infected.
